While a newcomer to the Solvang “scene” Succulent Cafe and Trading Company is dishing out the finest breakfast grub.
In a town mired by long lines, a mixed bag of diner food complete with danish attire, and just outright averageness Succulent is a standout.
This mornings feast consisted of a modified two poached egg breakfast complete with biscuit, gravy, cheese/scallion grits, house cured bacon, and two perfectly poached eggs.
This is no slouchy half assed wannabe meal. Eveything is done well and with skill.
Next time you find yourself in this sleepy little tourist trap and you want a bite to eat that will stand out come here. My other favorite is the butermilk fried chicken salad….mmmmm!
